In Production: Tashkeel Culture Show
To mark 15 years since its founding and celebrate its exciting expansion, Tashkeel has commissioned Wild Media to produce a 12-part documentary series that dives into the Tashkeel ecosystem, to tell rich and varied cultural stories that connect, inspire and inform.
In the series we will hear incredible stories about art and design, get up close to process, meet with designers and artists busy at work, and witness a collective spirit instilled with experimentation and innovation. We will meet the movers and shakers and Tashkeel’s extended family as we explore a vibrant cultural map of the UAE and beyond.
Each episode will focus on a specific theme and include a wide range of formats and styles, from studio interviews to archive, exhibition documentation to road trips, factory visits, chats over meals, art supply shopping, performance pieces, retrospectives, partnerships, cross-cultural inspirations, musings, and opinion pieces.
The series will pack a visual and editorial punch and place Tashkeel at the heart of the UAE’s cultural story. We will delve into the wonderful world of Tashkeel to meet its community, tap into its ethos and practices, and celebrate its legacy and evolution.
